Michael Braude Award for Light Verse 

Books Every two years the American Academy of Arts and Letters names a winner of the Michael Braude Award for Light Verse, a $5,000 award given for light verse in the English language, regardless of the country of origin of the writer. Mrs. Lillian Braude established the award in memory of her husband, Michael Braude, in 1987.
